on University golf course the fairway slopes about 15 yards downhill and then goes about the same distance uphill. At the bottom there is about 5 yards of ground under repair. you can’t drop beside the GUR so you can only drop back or front of it. if the ball lies almost out of the GUR the question is can you drop just out in front since the rule states to drop at the nearest point? Thank you.
